First elected in 2002, Representative Calvin Hill is currently serving his fifth term as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Prior to his legislative service, he had been Mayor of Ball Ground, Georgia for two terms in the early 90’s. His civil service does not stop there, he has been a member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce since 1987, Chairman of United Way, President of the Canton Rotary Club, Director for the March of Dimes, Chairman of the Cherokee Outdoor YMCA and has served on the boards of most non-profits in Cherokee County and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of Reinhardt University.
