Born and raised in Sandersville, Washington County, Georgia. Married to Valarie Jackson, together we have two sons, Michael and Daryl. Attended Albany State College for two years, graduated from Ga. College and State University with a degree in Political Science. Employed with the state of Ga. for 34 yrs. Retired in March 2006 from the Dept. of Corrections as a Probation Officer III. Part owner of BenchMark Partners LLC in Sandersville. Pastor of St. James Christian Fellowship, Inc. Elected to the Ga. House of Representatives Nov. 4, 2008.
