A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 49-4-142 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Department of Community Health and administration of the state plan for medical assistance, so as to provide for a short title; to provide that any formula used to determine the amount of the state portion of Medicaid reimbursement to nonprofit hospitals shall take into account the amount the nonprofit hospital has on deposit in state banks; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
