A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to revenue and taxation, so as to provide that sales and use of motor fuels shall be fully subject to the 4 percent state sales and use tax; to repeal the second motor fuel tax; to provide for corresponding changes to sales and use taxes and motor fuel taxes; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to provide for applicability; to provide that this Act shall not abate or affect prosecutions, punishments, penalties, administrative proceedings or remedies, or civil actions related to certain violations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
