A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to motor vehicles and traffic, so as to provide that any person convicted for the first time of the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol with an alcohol concentration of 0.15 grams or more shall be required to undergo a clinical evaluation and possible treatment; to provide for enhanced penalties for such persons; to amend Code Section 42-8-111 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to court ordered installation of ignition interlock devices, DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program, notice of requirements, and driver's license fee, so as to provide for an additional provision of probation; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
