Smith of the 52nd, Rogers of the 21st and Seabaugh of the 28th offered the
following amendment:
Amend
the committee substitute (LC 35 1435S) to HB 396 by deleting on lines 17-20 the
following: "to amend Chapter 16 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to the Department of Driver Services, so as to provide the
department with the power to contract for services;"
and
by deleting Section 24 on lines 505 through lines 514;
and
by renumbering the remaining Sections accordingly.
