amendment:
Amend
SB 287 (LC 28 4803) by striking the word “issue” on line 3 and
inserting in lieu thereof the following: “offer the license or permit
holder the option of issuing” and by adding the word
“replaced” on line 4 between “the” and
“number” and by adding the words “offer to” on line 17
after the word “shall” and by striking the word “and” on
line 18 and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “. If the holder of
the license or permit elects to have the department issue a replacement
driver’s license or permit with a new number, the
department”
